Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

* BS in Computer Science

* Active DOD Secret Clearance

* Developed compelling User Interfaces and Visualizations that operate at Big Data scales 

* Development and deploying JavaScript and Java based software architectures 

* Expereince with the following:

o UIUX Developer UI Mockup SW (i.e. Figma)

o Material Design best practices

o JAVA / JavaScript Applications

Pluses:

* Experience with tactical applications built for the DoD

* Engagement expereince with users in the field to capture workflows and design considerations 

Day to Day:

* Design and build efficient, well tested, and reusable User Interface custom components designs for JAVA and JavaScript based applications 

* Work with developers of interactive programs to optimize user experience. 

* Work with users to improve application navigation and effective access to services and content 

* Analyze and interpret requirements from Architecture and the User-centered Design Team 

* Ensure consistency with an established software development architecture 

* Serve as an integral member of the development team to create practical solutions in Agile/DevOps environment 

* Support customer engagements and interacting with system users to capture requirements and feedback as required 

* Follow Agile and Scrum best practices, maintain JIRA task log, use a suite of DevSecOps tools including JIRA, Confluence, GitLab. Maintain strong configuration management for newly developed software features null
