Assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for staff throughout the facility with a primary focus on clinical areas. Develops appropriate educational programs, coordinating the content with the organizational goals, objectives, policies, procedures and hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives. Possesses knowledge of adult learning principles. Displays appropriate management skills and works to ensure the facility meets all regulatory, state and corporate standards.

    Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure, Florida

  • Current AHA BLS Provider (required), AHA ACLS (preferred)

  • Minimum 3 years experience leadership experience in Staff Development in acute care setting

  • Capable of exhibiting strong leadership presence throughout the organization related to all initiatives

  • Possesses excellent communication, presentation and verbal skills

  • Strong computer skills required
