The Director Digital Platforms, Field & Customer Solutions (F&CS) is a high impact role within the DePuy Synthes North America Supply Chain organization that leads the team responsible for the development and management of our Orthopedic digital solution platforms. These solutions, which currently include Advance Case Management (ACM), eSIMS, and Set Tracking, provide AI enabled pre-op planning, case coordination, on-site inventory management, and field asset and set utilization visibility. These capabilities drive a differentiated experience that delivers operational, commercial, and customer benefits. This director will be a key technical and strategic leader responsible for the growth and success of these digital solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of six individuals responsible for the day-to-day and long-term management of existing digital solutions.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership in the development and execution of the solution strategies aligning with business goals and market demands.

  • Maintain comprehensive product roadmaps outlining key milestones, feature releases, and product updates. Drive feature prioritization efforts across stakeholders based on field, business, customer, and partner feedback, organizational dynamics, and business objectives.

  • Facilitate and drive significant collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Software Engineering, Design, Quality Assurance, R&D, Legal, Compliance, Data Science, and Commercial Operations to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions and analytics.

  • Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the success of the solutions.

  • Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize product performance.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and continually evaluate new technologies and alternatives to existing products and processes. Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and new features.

  • Responsible for driving vendor and partner relationships and managing related budgets.

  • Spearheads efforts to integrate digital solutions with other DPS Commercial products and services.

  • Supports the development and management of other digital solutions and participates in other company projects and initiatives as required.

  • Supports solution deployment planning and execution as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business is required; a MBA or other Graduate degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 10 years working experience in any of the following areas required - Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital Health, IT, or Engineering.

  • 8 years of healthcare industry experience is required

  • 5 years of people management experience with direct reports is required.

  • Strong collaboration, partnering, and negotiation skills required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

  • Ability to work independently with strong and flexible work ethic required

  • Excellent Planning & Organizing Skills required

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, develop, manage and coach associates is highly desirable.

  • Previous experience with project management is preferred.

  • Experience managing cross functional teams/projects/initiatives preferred.

  • Healthcare industry/environment experience preferred.

  • J&J Med Tech product and system knowledge preferred.

  • Knowledge of orthopedic products preferred

Other:

  • Up to 15% domestic travel may be required

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ 137,000 to $ 235,800

  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
