Job Description

An employer in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to assist their high-level Engineering team in building RF filters to control RF interference issues on DoD equipment. This person will be joining the Digital Design team and will be responsible for designing schematics containing components such as programmable logic, microcontroller's, analog, digital I/O, standard interfaces (LVDS, USB, Ethernet, RS-485), and DC/DC converters. This person will also be developing control algorithms, architecture, and code. The team is an integral part in all phases of hardware and firmware development and will be leading the charge in digital control module design, architecture, coding, simulation, module testing, system testing, firmware verification/validation and production support.

Skills and Requirements

BSEE/BSCE

1-5 years of exp. (can include co-op's) in Electronics/Digital Design

VHDL coding, simulation and synthesis for embedded applications (Verilog ok - not preferred)

Microcode exp. (can be 1 year) Exp with agile software dev and git

Exp within an RF/Analog hardware environment

Active Secret Clearance null
