Job/Position DescriptionThe Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a highly qualified candidate to fill the Leadership and Professional Development Analyst position (Program Specialist IV) within Access and Eligibility Services (AES), Leadership and Professional Development.AES's main goal is to assist Texans in need of services like food, medical care, and financial help. The ideal candidate should be someone who is innovative, takes pride in their work, values diversity, collaborates well with others, leads by example, and is committed to continuous learning. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing systems to gather feedback and evaluate the performance of LPD activities. You will also design, collect, and analyze data to assess how well LPD is meeting its goals and generate reports for sharing with AES leadership. Additionally, you will support the maintenance of the team's SharePoint, making sure information is up to date and accessible to AES staff. You will also oversee and maintain the online application submission process for the AES leadership academies. You may facilitate meetings and training sessions designed to keep stakeholders and others informed and engaged in LPD activities. You will work under limited supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Essential Job FunctionsDesign data collection mechanisms and conduct analysis of Leadership and Professional Development (LPD) programs to determine effectiveness of LPD programs and alignment to the established goals, mission and vision of Access and Eligibility Services (AES). You will evaluate response rates, validate evaluation data, revise evaluation tools and generate reports to share with AES executive leadership. Adheres to appropriate project management timelines and coordinates resources to ensure LPD's success. (25%) Coordinate and monitor LPD's projects and report status (Schedules, Milestones and Task Completions) according to AES and LPD standards. You will review, monitor and track projects/assignments for the LPD program area. Collect and synthesizes data to generate summary reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for the LPD Director's approval and to meet the Associate Commissioner for Operations' reporting expectations. (25%) You will manage and monitor the team's digital content on SharePoint to make sure all sites remain current, are accurate, and informative. You will collaborate with the team to create content that is engaging and increases visitation to the team's SharePoint using an innovative approach. You may also collaborate to create content for newsletters, presentations, and events.(20%) Oversee the online application process for the AES sponsored leadership academies and work with the LPD team and AES stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient process. You will monitor application submissions, answer questions and quickly resolve user issues, and/or escalate as appropriate. You will document and report on the academies application performance. (15%) Collaborate with the other LPD Data Analyst, LPD leadership and others internal and external to AES on team process improvement initiatives. You may organize and facilitate meetings and workgroups to involve all stakeholders in LPD activities. (10%) Performs other duties as assigned.
