Overview:

The application developer intern will work closely with our development team to design, develop, test and deploy software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and a passion for learning new technologies. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced development environment and contribute to the development of innovative solutions

Responsibilities:

Some essential duties of an application developer intern may include, but are not limited to:

• Working with other mid to senior developers to develop software applications

• Writing code and performing testing to ensure software functionality

• Debugging and troubleshooting application errors

• Assisting in the development of technical documentation

• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes

• Learning new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies as needed to complete assigned projects

• Other Duties as assigned.

*Minimum Qualifications:  *

• Currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's Degree program in computer science

Other Qualifications:

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Analytical and problem-solving Skills

• Coding skills in languages web development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Backend development skills Python, .NET, or Java

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Office Suite proficient

• Pursuing a degree in computer science or data science

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
