We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Subject Matter Expert position to support a client’s requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

More About the Role

The duties and functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the Deputy Director, CI.

  • Advise DOE CI managers complex-wide.

  • Provide guidance in policy development, planning, implementation, execution and coordination of various CI activities.

  • Provide support regarding compliance with applicable USIC national security laws, executive orders, policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Support the mandate to develop a national CI Program.

  • Participate in/conduct briefings in support of the DOE CI mission, goals, and objectives.

  • Collaborate and coordinate CI policy with the DOE Office of General Counsel, the Department of Justice and the FBI to support the Deputy Director, CI, in fulfilling the mission of the CI program consistent with all applicable laws, Executive Orders, DOE Orders and applicable guidelines.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/CI Poly eligible for a "Q” Clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

  • Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of the United States Intelligence Community (USIC), its authorities, functions, responsibilities, and mission. The SME must have twenty (20) years of experience, including 10 years of management experience, with a demonstrated emphasis on counterintelligence (CI) collection, reporting, analysis, investigations, operations, or near-term and long- term strategic planning.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree such as a Master's Degree or Law Degree

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,800 - $219,600
