The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments and establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.

  • Use knowledge, skills, and ability to conduct research for designing, integrating, and implementing security controls into current and future products/systems thus ensuring these systems can be accredited based on compliance with the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).

  • Recommend the components to implement system security requirements using intimate knowledge of security design best practices for information systems.

  • Perform security assessments on hardware/software products to include physical, virtual, boundary, and security appliances.

  • Implement continuous monitoring tools and processes, development of improvements to security assessments regarding accuracy and efficiency as well as integration of new techniques to improve the confidentiality – integrity – availability of network/operational systems at multiple classifications levels.

  • Apply knowledge and understanding of DIACAP accredited SAPCO information systems.

  • Apply knowledge and understanding of, and comply with, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, ICD 503, JAFAN, and JSIG.

  • Provide deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Write and execute cybersecurity test procedures for validation of security compliance.

  • Administer Red Hat Linux based systems with minimal support, to include patching, creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security

  • Conduct hardware and software troubleshooting

  • Use and develop with automation tools/frameworks such as Red Hat Satellite, Ansible

  • Install, administer, and troubleshoot recent versions of Red Hat 8.x and 9.x

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot third party software such as: SPLUNK, ACAS, Nessus Manager, Forescout and Red Hat Satellite/Ansible

  • Ability to work within VMWare, VCenter, and Nutanix building Red Hat systems

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience

  • Detailed understanding of architecture design of an enterprise information system

  • Demonstrated experience in security requirements associated with DoD enterprise systems

  • Certified in accordance with Cyber Workforce Management Program DoDD 8140.1 and DoD 8570.01-M

  • Must meet the requirements of an IAM Level III as a condition of employment

  • Certified as Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) or equivalent

  • Certified as Information Assurance Systems Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level III

Preferred:

  • Red Hat Linux-Versions 7.x, 8.x, 9.x

  • Red Hat Satellite/Ansible

  • Splunk-Version 8.x, 9.x
