Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Development Support Analyst with utility experience working in OMS (Outage Management Systems) and ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management Systems).

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Development Support Analyst . This position will be a full-time and remote contract opportunity .

What You’ll Do

  • ADMS Implementation and Integration

  • Integration of ADMS components, including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), OMS (Outage Management System) and ADMS ( Advanced Distribution Management System)

  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, data flows, and configuration details, versions, etc.

  • Provide ongoing support during system rollout and post-implementation

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to ADMS

  • Propose enhancements to optimize ADMS performance and adapt to evolving grid needs

  • Emergency Response: Must be available for rotating on call support of emergences or response to storms / other events that impact service to our customers

  • Responsibilities include providing consultation for business, system, and user needs and handling moderate-to-complex end-user system and operations issues that arise

What You'll Need

Required

  • Outage Management Systems (OMS)

  • Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS)

  • Understanding of utility grid operations, asset management, and distribution system management

Preferred

  • SCADA experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
