Summary About the Position: This is a Program Manager position for the Headquarters, US Army Corps of Engineers, Directorate of Civil Works, Supplemental Programs Branch. Keeps abreast of changes in Civil Works policy guidance from the ASA (CW), the Office of Management, Budget and Congress. Develops USACE Civil Works policies for execution of assigned appropriations or programs. Integrates actions for assigned Civil Works programs and coordinate the actions of HQUSACE elements and MSC program managers to ensure the effective execution of planned work. Exercises leadership in evaluating competing Civil Works priorities, allocating funds, identifying issues to recommend solutions for emergency requirements. Delivers briefings to various audiences to include senior leaders. Reviews MSC funds availability and funding requests. Actively participates in numerous HQ level meeting to ensure transparent communication on overall program execution. Review Civil Works programs and policies within an assigned program to update program guidance. 2. Apply laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance and consistency with corporate actions within Civil Works programs; and 3. Develop Civil Works plans or programs to allocate resources and identify appropriate programs issues to ensure that all emergency requirements are communicated to the organization.
