Intel Supply Chain Network Design Analyst in Malaysia

Job Description

This position reports into the Business Solutions team within Malaysia Site Logistics which is an organization under Assembly Test Manufacturing Logistics (ATML) and Global Logistics Organization(GLO). As a Network Design Analyst, this individual is expected to deliver Supply chain related solutions to meet the needs of the Logistics warehousing and transportation functions in supporting operational activities as well as new capabilities set up.

Role requires knowledge of Logistics processes in the warehouse network and involves interface with multiple stakeholders such as Logistics groups onsite, within ATML/GLO , key partner such as BU, Factories and many more. Employing discipline of exploring problems or opportunities to craft better outcomes for the business, this position is critical to operations excellence and business transformation.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support Global Logistic Operations for all assigned areas in the administration, researching, analytical, planning and implementing of tactics/strategic/processes to support warehouse and freight operations optimization effort.

  • Perform Data analysis and reporting out logistic operation indicator and trends for better strategic decision making

  • Desktop research to compile environmental scans on relevant areas to assist and provide analytical information to Logistic Management for better strategy planning.

  • Perform Internal scans on other relevant organization within the company to understand the roadmap changes/shifts as a means to make recommendations for any strategic changes in logistic

  • Responsible for the logistic network design for the assigned business unit. Work with business unit to understand and identify areas of opportunities to better optimize the supply chain.

  • Perform Logistics Network Analysis to drive recommendations for network optimization based on multiple drivers such as service level, cost, and quality.

  • Collaborate with multiple and variety of stakeholders from different roles and geography. Ability to understand the needs and what's important to the stakeholders.

  • Work with large amount of data of various types and formats. Developed a high tolerance of ambiguity and capability to detect pattern among the noises in datasets.

  • Managing quick turn program to setup Business Continuity Plan Warehouses to provide logistic Services as a means of business continuity in crisis scenarios.

  • Provide data intelligence- Gather, interpret relevant data (costs, productivity, logistics nodes in the supply chain network, demand patterns, etc.) and conduct analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations in both routine and uncommon or complex situations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BSc) in Business or Technical disciplines (eg. Information Technology (IT), Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing).

  • At least 5 years' experience working within Supply chain, Logistics, or related discipline .

  • Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management processes covering finished goods shipments, raw material receipts and intercompany/interplant movements and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent spoken/written communication skills and stakeholder management skills.

  • Leadership to deliver innovative solutions.

  • Desirables include knowledge of databases, statistics applications, spreadsheets and logistics programs and familiarity with Intel's factory networks and/or supply organization or prior experience supporting or directly working with ATM/FSM/Mfg.

  • Experience in LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies and/or leadership of LEAN processes.

  • APICS CSCP certification a plus.
