Oracle Principal Member of Technical Staff in India

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Warehouse developer who has extensive experience in Dimensional modelling, report & dashboard design and ETL development, to support and enhance Oracle BI Applications product. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge SQL/PL-SQL and Data modelling.

  • Computer Science or equivalent degree from one of the top universities

  • 8+ years of successful experience in building and supporting BI Applications using BI tools such as Informatica, ODI, OBIEE, DAC etc.

  • Experience with design and development of ETL programs to ensure heterogeneous database support

  • Experience in SQL/PL-SQL, Data modelling and Application design

  • Domain/Functional knowledge of at least one functional area: Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS or CRM

  • Working experience with any ERP/in-demand application such as Oracle EBS, People soft, Siebel CRM Fusion is preferred

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Functional Analysis and Review of source applications for FDI content development

  • Setting up new module end-to-end from scratch and onboarding to FDI

  • Creating ETL Pipelines for populating DW adhering to star model design principles

  • Creating and setting up Semantic model by creating new Subject Areas using OAC

  • Build custom scripts in Python etc. for rapid prototyping data model/transforms
