We need an outstanding colleague to support the qPCR Custom Products business within Thermo Fisher Scientific. Objective of this role is to contribute to the growth of the portfolio through collaboration with R&D and Operations to efficiently fulfill our customer‘s needs for custom qPCR products. We are looking for a motivated teammate who is attentive to details, has excelent time management and prioretization skills and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Product Specialist is responsible for successfully managing and coordinating all technical and service aspects of a custom/OEM product request. This will range from initial discussions with clients, internal teams, product specification alignment, and preparation of commercial proposals and internal documents required for manufacturing and sales.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with a cross-functional team to clarify customer‘s needs and ensure timely commercialization of custom products.

  • Accurately prepare internal documents and commercial proposals.

  • Timely report of assigned KPIs.

  • Contribute to improving existing processes.

How would your usual workday look like?

  • Reading emails and answering inquiries;

  • Clarifying customer‘s requirements for a product and translating it into internal documentation;

  • Communicating and coordinating with internal and external customers, departments to align on new product creation and quotation.

  • Conference calls with colleagues and customers around the globe (according demand);

  • Coordinate custom and OEM Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) creation and updates in ERP system.

  • Preparing commercial proposals (quotes) for customers.

  • Working closely with the Project Manager and Product Manager to ensure that project milestones would be met.

  • Performing other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (biochemistry, molecular biology, biology).

  • Attention to details, sense of ownership.

  • Eagerness to learn, flexibility.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, work effectively in teams and in fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient Lithuanian and English skills (written and speaking).

  • Experience in project management and customer-facing experience - advantageous

The total base pay range is €31,500.00 to €42,000.00.

This translates to a monthly salary range of approximately €2,625.00 to €3,500.00 before taxes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €31,500.00–€42,000.00.
