Assist in Sewer System Installation: Work alongside experienced plumbers to help install sewer lines, pipes, and drainage systems in residential and commercial properties.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring the safe operation of tools and equipment, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Material Handling: Assist in the procurement, transportation, and organization of materials, including pipes, fittings, and drainage components, for sewer system projects.

Trenching and Excavation: Participate in trenching and excavation tasks to create pathways for sewer lines, ensuring proper slopes and depths according to local building codes.

Sewer Pipe Installation: Learn how to assemble and install various types of sewer pipes, including PVC, ABS, and cast iron, while maintaining proper alignment and grade.

Pipe Connection: Assist in connecting sewer lines to plumbing fixtures, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floor drains.

Sewer Line Inspections: Conduct inspections of sewer lines using cameras and other diagnostic equipment to identify blockages, leaks, or damage.

Sewer Line Cleaning: Participate in sewer line cleaning activities, such as using augers or high-pressure water jets to remove clogs and debris.

Manhole and Access Point Maintenance: Help maintain and repair manholes, cleanouts, and access points to ensure proper functionality and accessibility for sewer system inspections and maintenance.

Leak Detection and Repair: Assist in locating and repairing leaks or breaches in sewer lines, as well as replacing damaged or corroded sections.

Root Intrusion Removal: Learn to remove tree roots or other obstructions that may infiltrate sewer lines and cause blockages.

Hydraulic Testing: Assist with hydraulic tests to ensure sewer systems are watertight and functioning correctly.

Sewer Ventilation: Learn about sewer ventilation systems and assist in their installation to prevent sewer gases from accumulating within buildings.

Code Compliance: Familiarize yourself with local plumbing codes and regulations, ensuring all sewer system installations and repairs meet compliance standards.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, including measurements, materials used, and any necessary permits or inspections.

Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients and homeowners, addressing questions or concerns and providing updates on sewer system work progress.

Emergency Response: Be available for emergency sewer repairs and provide assistance as needed, including outside regular working hours.

Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions, classes, or workshops to expand knowledge of sewer system installation and maintenance and stay current with industry trends and regulations.
