Citigroup AVP Fin Solutions Securitization and Equity RWA /Sr. Analyst - Hybrid - TAMPA in Tampa, Florida

The Fin Solutions Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:

  • Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations

  • Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance

  • Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes

  • Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications

  • Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.

  • Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural "expert" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.

  • May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees.

  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred

  • Excellent relational and communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Education:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Primary role is to engage in Securitization and Equity RWA calculation and reporting

  • Support the diagnostic and remediation activities of regulatory capital calculations that encompass governance, data and non-data controls, processes, system implementation and regulatory reporting.

  • Actively engage with review/audit functions to ensure all processes and procedures aligned with Citi's enterprise Risk Management Framework and manage documentation and evidence for CAP's

  • Perform weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting of securitization and equity RWA including RWA strategic analytics and management summaries of period over period changes for regulatory reporting and earnings calls

  • Reconcile data between different systems, identify and escalate any issues with business/technology teams for resolution

  • Act as SME and respond to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders related to RWA

  • Actively engage with Business to explain the business drivers of RWA variances

  • Closely interact with Technology to implement any calculation logic changes as well as the upcoming Basel 3 End Game rules

  • Knowledge of Basel rule and the US NPR would be a plus but not required

  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting such as FR Y9C, FFIEC 101, call reports would be a plus but not required

  • Skillful use of excel is required

  • Ability to use Tableau is a plus but not required

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
