Express Healthcare Staffing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (FT, PT, PRN & CONTRACT) $26-$32/hr in Tacoma, Washington

Job Description: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a long-term care facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also be responsible for monitoring residents' vital signs, reporting any changes in their condition to the nursing staff, and providing emotional support and companionship to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes in their condition to the nursing staff.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Follow all facility policies and procedures, including infection control protocols and resident confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Previous experience working in a long-term care facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
