Summary/Objective

The Maple Tree Rentals (MTR) Business Specialist will oversee daily office functions of this business unit and manage customer service staff in providing professional, efficient, and friendly service to all customers, retailers, employees, and vendors utilizing high-quality property management/asset management skills and techniques.

Essential Functions

• Perform Rent to Own (RTO) servicing duties for MTR. Maintain customer ledger accounts. Accurately post all receipts, charges, and credits to customer accounts. Set up new and renewing customer information and RTO particulars in company software.

• Frequently review customer delinquency and lead account collection efforts by providing letter, telephone, and email reminders.

• Perform marketing and business development activities to explore potential RTO opportunities for other products.

• Manage the repossession and resale process utilizing MTR vendors and dealers coordinating with the MTR Consultant.

• Ensure company banking deposits are accurate and completed on a daily basis.

• Ensure all bills/invoices are paid accurately and completed according to the company accounts payable procedures.

• Visit existing dealers to ensure satisfaction with the MTR RTO products and services and perform inventory and routine inspection activities on assets.

• Maintain logs, reports and spreadsheets as required.

• Supervise the Customer Service Representative(s).

• Assist the Operations Manager on completion of special projects as assigned.

  Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  This is a full time position; typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work outside these hours may be necessitated by business demands.

  Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• B ilingual (Spanish) a plus

  Preferred Education and Experience

• College degree preferred but not required
