Job Description

An employer is seeking a ML Engineer to join their team in Spring, TX. He or she will be joining the Commercial Architecture team focusing on ML engineering to help building out prototypes for potential future creation. The ML Engineer will design and develop TinyML models for various POC or prototype applications on edge devices, which could include hardware and software integrations. On a daily basis, he or she will be responsible for designing and developing TinyML models for various applications on edge devices; train and evaluate TinyML models on various datasets, ensuring accuracy and performance optimization; develop and implement data collection and pre-processing pipelines for TinyML models. To be effective in this role, the ML Engineer should be able to select and utilize appropriate TinyML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, Edge Impulse) for efficient model development and deployment. Lastly, the ability to document and present findings effectively, clearly communicating the potential and limitations of each prototype, is critical for this team. This role is hybrid on-site in Spring, TX three days a week.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in a ML Engineering capacity, ideally on edge devices

5+ years of hands on Python experience

Hands on experience with ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow Lite and Edge Impulse

Experience with Edge AI systems

Prior experience with sensor data Computer Engineering Degree

C++ or other Windows programming

Multimodal Models experience around ML

Experience with GenerativeAI (GenAI) - large language model similar to ChatGPT null
