The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspecting and evaluating devices for security vulnerabilities and ensuring the robustness of our products. With a focus on enhancing security measures, the Security Hardware Engineer will contribute to safeguarding our hardware solutions against potential threats. This role requires a deep understanding of security protocols, hardware design, and hands-on experience in hardware testing. Key Responsibilities: 1.Security Assessment: Perform thorough security assessments on hardware devices to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential security risks. 2.Hardware Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing and analysis of hardware components and systems to validate their security features and identify potential points of exploitation. 3.Testing Methodologies: Utilize industry-standard testing methodologies and tools to evaluate the security of hardware components, ensuring compliance with best practices. 4.Lab Testing: Independently set up, configure, and manage hardware testing environments within the Hardware Lab, ensuring accurate and repeatable results. 5.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware designers, software engineers, and quality assurance, to integrate security into the hardware development lifecycle. 6.Reporting: Create detailed technical reports summarizing findings, test results, and recommendations for improving the security of hardware devices. 7.Research: Stay updated on the latest security trends, emerging threats, and industry best practices to continuously improve hardware security processes. 8.Precision Performance: Demonstrates the ability to execute repetitive tasks with unwavering attention, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout. 9.Deviation Recognition: Proficient in identifying even subtle differences between multiple samples, showcasing an acute eye for detail and the capacity to spot minor deviations. Qualifications and Requirements: *3 to 5 years of proven experience in hardware security assessment, vulnerability analysis, and testing within a hardware engineering environment. *Proficient in reading and interpreting electronics schematics, with a keen ability to identify various electronics components. *Soldering experience is desirable, showcasing the ability to handle intricate electronics assembly tasks. *Familiarity with FPGA programming is desirable and considered a valuable skill for the role. *Strong understanding of hardware security principles, cryptographic protocols, and secure design practices. *Proficiency in using hardware testing tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related equipment. *Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and hardware security frameworks. *Knowledge of hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL is a plus. *Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to anticipate potential security risks. *Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. *Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, adapting to changing priorities and project demands. *P
