Description:

The WINTEL Systems Security Administrator will report directly to the WINTEL Security Services Team Lead and provide central accountability for all Server Security Services which are those Security Services activities associated with the delivery of managed IT services and technical support of existing and future Windows-based physical and virtual system configurations. This includes the administration of security services supporting systems software (e.g., operating systems, utilities, databases, and middleware) necessary to deliver the required services (e.g. hosting, web, messaging, remote access, and security administration) to support customer’s business applications and usage. The WINTEL Systems Security Administrator will be a technical resource within the SAIC Managed IT Services Data Center Tower team providing infrastructure and security services support which are those activities associated with the security and management of the existing and future security services environments using ITIL processes. This on-site team position is located in the Orange County Data Center in Santa Ana, California, however, remote work protocols currently exist.

• Provide WINTEL/LINUX system administration services (e.g., Active Directory, Configuration and Performance Optimization, access controls, manage files, disk space, and manage requests for SAN and backup allocations) required to deliver services and meet contract Service Level Requirements (SLRs).

• Plan, Implement, and Support Data Center Security Services. This includes E-mail Security Gateways, Privileged Access Management, Vulnerability management and monthly server patching.

• Assist with project planning and implementation of future data center security initiatives.

• Supports current and future Data Center infrastructure System Software security controls and implementation (e.g., operating systems, utilities, databases, and middleware) for the WINTEL/LINUX server computing infrastructures.

• Provide system administration services support for the Enterprise/O365 Exchange and Server services infrastructure software and hardware components to meet customer requirements.

• Implement, configure, manage and administer Active Directory (e.g., groups and domains, replication schedules, database corruption, inter-regional issues, DNS registration, LDAP, and IP address ranges) to deliver services and meet contract SLRs.

• Install , test, and provide technical support, administration and security administration for Remote Access Services (VPN, Terminal Services, MFA, etc) hardware and software to deliver services and meet contractual SLRs.

• Provision, implement, configure, maintain and manage the EDI Services infrastructure (GlobalScape FTP servers) required to deliver services and meet contractual SLRs.

• Interfaces with other Data Center Services team members, storage system support personnel, ITSM service delivery leadership, contract support personnel, and various customer personnel.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

-2+ years' experience providing WINTEL/LINUX infrastructure server system administration services.

-2+ years’ experience as a member of a Managed IT Services team supporting an Enterprise level customer environment.

-2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft SCCM for planning and deployment of server updates.

-2+ years’ experience in providing Server End-Point Protection utilizing CrowdStrike Falcon/Cylance Protect, Implementation and management.

-2+ years’ system administration expertise in Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019, certifications beneficial.

-2+ years’ system administration expertise in VMWare software and virtual infrastructure and server implementation, certifications beneficial.

-2+ years of proficiency in the planning, build, configuration and implementation of WINTEL servers.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Security Services: Microsoft EOP, Proofpoint E-mail Security Gateway, Centrify (PAM - Privilege Access Management).

-Experience with Vulnerability management utilizing Nessus Professional or Tenable.IO.

-Experience with Microsoft Azure Arc for hybrid cloud services delivery.

-Experience with supporting Microsoft Exchange Online. This includes Intune administration.

-Proficient in PowerShell to support Azure AD and daily Exchange Online user requests.

-Understanding of various authentication and verification methods used in Azure AD (MFA, Microsoft Authenticator, SSPR).

-Additional experience with the Microsoft 365 compliance center is a plus.

-IT Managed services experience supporting enterprise level customer environments.

-Excellent Communication Skills – written and oral.
