Iteris is seeking aPlanner IIto coordinate production plans and schedules, plan and issue production work orders, process requisitions, request quotes, create, issue, and manage purchase orders, manage raw materials and finish goods to avoid shortages or excess stock. This Individual will establish and promote internal and external relationships with departmental stakeholders and key suppliers to support the organization.

What you will be doing:

• Monitor and clear Receiving and Material Review Board discrepancies

• Achieve cost savings based on standard pricing. Identify and suggest alternatives

• Sources vendors for best prices, availability, best values, and supply chain continuity

• Obtain appropriate approvals for all purchases

• Actively ensure overall product and supplier quality

• Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

• ERP (Oracle) loading demand requirements, work orders, and transfer orders

• Determine capacity, production and shipping schedules

• Plans and procures supplies, raw materials, components, sub-assemblies and equipment necessary

• Plan sequence of assembly, installation, configuration, test and other manufacturing operations for mix of products

• Submit routers to Document Control for creation

• Report preparation and submission

• Maintain positive flow of communication

• Establish and promote relationships with different departments (stockroom, production, shipping, quality, accounting, etcetera)

• Coordinate with sales support, shipping/receiving, and production to meet requirements

• Participate in LEAN training, activities, and projects to promote continuous process improvements

• Assist in development of policies, procedures, metrics and key performance indicators

• Resolves problems utilizing root cause analysis & analytical abilities

• Responsible for on-time delivery from assigned suppliers and on-time delivery to customer orders

• Initiates cost saving activities/projects with suppliers/production/engineering (VAVE)

• Any other duties deemed necessary

• Oracle Fusion experience preferred

  What you need to be successful in this role:

• Requires knowledge and understanding of ERP systems

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field

• Four to five years of purchasing/planning experience in electronic and/or electro-mechanical manufacturing

• Oracle Fusion ERP experience is preferred

• Focus on Production Planning is preferred

• Must be able to work in a cross-functional environment

• Able to manage several tasks simultaneously

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Organizational, listening, and problem-solving skills

• Mathematics and analytic skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Leadership skills and traits

• Technology literate

  Iteris anticipates paying between $61,000.00 and $68,000.00 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
