SAIC Senior Navy Intelligence Analyst in SAN DIEGO, California

Description

SAIC is in need of a senior Navy Intelligence SME to support advanced, high-level pre-deployment training for Carrier Strike Groups, Expeditionary Strike Groups, and Amphibious Ready Groups. This position is for someone who is passionate about training and ensuring our Navy is fully trained and ready for deployment. The position is in San Diego, CA , with occasional travel to Fleet Concentration Areas. Work is in support of Live-Virtual-Constructive training events, which are underway live training events augmented with virtual and constructive forces.

Note : This is a pipeline position for future opportunities with the team.

The Intelligence SME will:

  • Provide intelligence analysis and scenario development support for Live-Virtual-Constructive training events; monitor and analyze strategic, operational, and tactical aspects of political, military, and economic developments for countries in INDOPACOM AOR and other AOIs. Assess on-going and future pol-mil-econ developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country

  • Develop and test OPFOR modeling and simulation (M&S) entity files in preparation for training events

  • Facilitate exercise execution and the accomplishment of intelligence/information operations training objectives by managing intelligence aspects, role-playing opposing forces and/or intelligence components as required, and serving as a senior white cell representative to exercise directors.

  • Liaise with Navy and Joint centers of excellence, and provide SME support in latest USN doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures for intelligence, and supporting systems

  • For Live-Virtual-Constructive events, support development of geopolitical situation, road-to-crisis, OPFOR orders of battle, and other scenario background documents.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and Minimum 20 years Navy Intelligence Officer experience.

  • Deployed experience with Carrier Strike Group Staff, Expeditionary Strike Group Staff, or equivalent.

  • Extensive experience with complex, large-scale exercise scenario development and execution.

  • Post-department head tour experience in Intelligence capacity on Numbered Fleet Staff, Carrier Strike Group Staff, Expeditionary Strike Group Staff, or equivalent.

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI.

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
