The Manager, Automation Analysis helps to define process requirements and automation scope to help the automation team build automated processes using Robotic Process Automation or other tools with a focus on process improvement and productivity. This position requires the incumbent to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the business needs of the project stakeholders, including internal customers and end users, and is involved throughout the process solution development lifecycle. Upon establishing the requirements baseline, the focus shifts towards verifying the fulfillment of all requirements and communicating changes in accordance with the project change control process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. * Understand and articulate the business process, problem definition and opportunity by documenting business requirements, use cases, and functional and non-functional requirements; * Perform interviews of project stakeholders and translate this information into manageable and executable requirements for the automation developers; * Provide central coordination for all business and infrastructure requirements for automation initiatives as a critical member of RPA operations; * Ensure requirements are documented, traceable and testable through to implementation; * Interface directly with internal (automation team) and external (throughout the Company) stakeholders to ensure that requirements are accurately articulated; * Provide business owners insight to optimize their processes when RPA is not the best solution for a business need. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 2 - 4 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors/third party outsourced vendors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree AND * Five (5) years of experience in business analysis or a related field OR * Equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates and Licenses: None required. OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail * Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information * Listening skills, to understand what people say and to detect what they might be hesitant to say * Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, translate up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements * Facilitation skills, to lead requirements el citation workshops * Observation skills, to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation * Writing skills, to communicate information effectively to the business, managers, and technical staff * Organizational skills, to work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis, and to cope with rapidly changing information * Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders * Project management skills to help organize, lead, and implement solutions * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies * Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency. * Ability to travel 5% of the time * Ability to clear required background check DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Highly proficient in Microsoft Office * Experience interacting with K12 systems preferred * RPA certification * Experience working in a large enterprise * BPMN 2.0 WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * This position is a Home Based Position Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. * We anticipate the salary range to be $90,000 to $172,000. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
