ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. * Own media strategy across all social media platforms to increase consumer reach, engagement, and community building * Drive innovative ideas from development through execution of campaigns, with a unique, but consistent point of view * Drive accelerated growth on existing media channels and oversee new launch strategies * Build advocacy and engagement via organic channels and ensure best-in-class community management for all lines of business * Challenge the status quo and progressively propose fresh, creative, and out-of-the-box ideas * Develop standards and best practices to inform and scale across all marketing and channel platforms * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute integrated campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels and bring our storytelling to life * Lead projects from inception to execution; digging into execution and expediting delivery with quality and speed. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 4 - 6 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Proven track record of growing a large social media presence * In-depth knowledge and understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and the intricacies that go into making compelling and engaging content across platforms * Expertise in social media strategy and management * A creative problem solver and innovator who is not just repeating what's been done, but is interested in helping to build what is next. * Consumer-driven approach, putting consumers, influencers, and advocates at the center of its social media strategy. * Strong ability to leverage content to tell stories in social media * Ability to navigate and build relationships with multiple stakeholders, and communities to ensure strategies/goals are understood and met. * Strong quantitative skills with experience in social analytics/influencer tools preferred. * Must have the ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment and must be highly organized and detail-oriented * Familiarity with managing a community across organic channels, as well as strategies to respond to negative sentiment * Pop culture savvy; able to identify trends and key influencers and move on them quickly. * Six (6) years of experience in a creative or media agency, or in-house with a media influence team or equivalent combination of education and experience * Ability to effectively manage and inspire agency partners * Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency. * Ability to travel 10% of the time * Ability to clear required background check WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
