Description
We are seeking an IT Manager in Saint Louis, Missouri, who will be instrumental in managing and maintaining our client's IT infrastructure! This role requires a hands-on leader who can strategize and execute plans to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing a team and overseeing infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with our business needs.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and other hardware.
Lead, mentor, and manage the IT infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Plan, execute, and oversee infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Implement robust security measures and protocols to ensure the integrity and security of the company's IT infrastructure.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Maintain detailed documentation of the IT infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Ensure all IT infrastructure activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
Utilize skills such as Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management.
Requirements
Must possess extensive knowledge and experience in IT management
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies required
Demonstrated experience with Cloud Technologies is necessary
Should have a solid understanding of Database systems
Experience with EO/IR systems is a plus
Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is expected
Must have hands-on experience with Active Directory
Knowledge of Backup Technologies is mandatory
Experience with Computer Hardware is essential
Must be skilled in Configuration Management
Experience in managing Contracts is necessary
