Job Overview:

Analyze the client's needs, detailed design, develop / lead software modules, test, and deploy the applications or software component or module in Dev/Test environments

Estimate project tasks, deliver project tasks on-time, within estimated hours, of defined quality levels, to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in technical interaction with customer to understand project specifications and prepare requirement Specifications document.

  2. Design and estimate effort for application components or modules.

  3. Develop and ensure production quality code while ensuring Code quality checks and Peer reviews for self and junior members.

  4. Prepare applicable test cases. Perform functional testing. Trouble shooting, Help developers to fix defects.

  5. Adhere to QMS, Customer specific standards, specifications and processes during project task delivery

  6. Handle technical issues/ problems with customers.

KRA’s:

Code quality (any measurement applicable and practically possible like code quality tool report / bugs reported / defect density / UI defects etc.).

On time Delivery of Project modules. Meeting delivery milestones, Meeting Internal project schedule for all the tasks assigned to be considered.

Productivity improvement / automation / innovation / solution suggestions - Number of such instances recognized by team / PM / Client.

Customer Satisfaction of individual/projects worked to be considered, received as either emails or CSAT scores.

Contribution to Knowledge Management, Documentation of best practices, Checklists, development of reusable components, Hours of technical training / awareness sessions conducted for team and others.

Number of new competencies developed - primary skills and Complimentary skills.
