We have an immediate need for a Data Analyst at our aerospace location in Rockford, ILL. The primary focus of this role is data extraction from various programs for analysis, clean up, accuracy and continuous improvement activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Extract data from ERP and other shop floor software programs

  • Update/edit and analyze current data.

  • Using Spreadsheets, SAP and other automated programs to provide data analysis and metrics.

  • Additional duties include data cleanup for error free data sources. Constant monitoring of reporting tools is required to ensure data is accurate.

  • Job function include continuous improvement tools, developing work instructions / standard work, and following all regulatory company procedures.

  • Attend daily / weekly schedule / status meetings, or more frequently as deemed appropriate.

  • Treat all documentation as customer proprietary & comply with applicable customer procedures.

  • Revisions to the work scope may be made.

  • Realize opportunities for continuous improvement and find ways to implement solutions.

  • Other administrative and supportive duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science/STEM discipline equivalent combination of education or experience.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in data analytics.

  • Demonstrated experience with SAP in a Manufacturing Environment

  • Very strong written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights to a non-technical audience

  • In depth understanding of data collection, data flow management, data manipulation, data archiving and data standards

  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
