The Richmond district of VSC Fire and Security seeks qualified candidates for the position of Estimator / Project Manager for the Deficiency department.

This position will assist the Deficiency Manager with sales and estimation of contract values. In addition, this position will assist with the review of work of department staff; provide training and instruction as needed; develop work schedules and daily assignments; and oversee projects to completion. This person will also work to ensure the delivery of quality service to the customer by the Deficiency department while maintaining scope of the company's obligations as defined by the contract and/or work order. This position will be expected to interact and communicate in a professional and positive manner not only within the organization but also with customers,

This position requires experience in fire protection with prior supervision/management experience preferred. NICET certification with knowledge of applicable state, local codes, IBC, relevant NFPA Standards, and AHJ governing the location of the company's work geography preferred. Demonstrated PC skills as well as experience using a customer database management system are preferred.
