Providence St. Joseph Health Regional Service Owner, Data Center Engineering in Renton, Washington

Description An SEO Regional Service Owner, Data Center Engineering is responsible for providing Regional support for all PSJH locations in their assigned region. They are accountable for the service delivery of all IT spaces (MDF / IDF) in the Region in a manner that promotes and supports Providence's mission, values, and philosophy. Service delivery includes supporting daily operations, ensuring infrastructure uptime, coordination and delivery of approved deployment projects, and 24x7 response to critical infrastructure/facility alerts. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent education/ experience. 8 years related experience; more preferred. Strong experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. Strong experience with n-tier solutions. Strong experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually). Strong experience influencing engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations. Strong experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements. Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Strong experience in advanced problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with data center facility engineering, design & construction. Knowledge and understanding of Data Center HVAC, air flow, mechanical and electrical systems including: generators, UPS systems, PDU/ATS units, chillers, air handling units, and CRAC units. IT infrastructure experience working in IDF/MDF/Data Centers and participating in the implementation of IT infrastructure projects. AutoCAD / Critical Facility Design experience desired. Experience in a Healthcare environment.
