Internet Technician\ Presque Isle, ME FT/Days Permanent Opportunity\ \ Job Description:\ \ Permanent opening for an Internet Technician to work for a well-established IT company based in Presque Isle. This position offers a daytime schedule and benefits, including a company-matched 401k, paid holidays, and PTO. Full-time/Days; 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with some on-call need; \$20.00 - \$24.00/hr.\ \ The Internet Technician will install, disconnect, reconnect, update, and troubleshoot telephone, high-speed internet, and digital security services for both residential and commercial customers. Employees must be comfortable working from heights, have a valid drivers license and good driving record. Previous experience in internet or cable installation is highly valued.\ \ Responsibilities:

• Travel to customers homes and/or businesses to complete installations and repairs.
• Install local internet networks, telephone equipment, CCTVs, security systems and GPS systems in a variety of environments.
• Perform basic performance tests and troubleshooting on installed systems.
• Connect cameras and other security system hardware to existing networks.
• Promote increased sales by explaining the advantages of available products and services to prospective and current customers.
• Keep accurate and thorough records of job orders and completed tasks.
• Provide reliable coverage during off-business hours; employees are required to take turns being on-call to respond to after-hours emergencies.

\ Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent education required. Degree in IT or computer sciences preferred.
• 1-2 years of professional experience completing electronic and/or network installations.
• Valid Maine driver\'s license and good driving record.
• Must be comfortable with heights, including climbing ladders and working in a bucket truck.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
