The M365 Transport team provides the messaging services for many of the Office 365 features. One obvious example would be Email, but the same messaging infrastructure is truly critical to many other features just as well, and currently handling several tens of billion messages per day.

The code this team works on powers the world’s largest application service impacting hundreds of millions of individuals every single day. We work with technologies such as .NET Core (including TAP and multithreading), web services, distributed caches, big data analytics, open source libraries and Azure services. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features end to end in a complex high scale environment that are ‘serviceable’, low maintenance and with provable quality.

• Within M365, DevOps team members take care of all aspect: planning, design, implementation, delivery, monitoring, and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Commitment to a Growth Mindset and customer focus.

• Strong technical problem solving, communication and mentoring skills.

• Experience in software development, including DevOps and distributed systems.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education, training, or experiences.
