JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Plano, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Perform full life cycle software design and development for the software applications. Lead and participate in coding standards, code review process, source code management, and continuous integration process for the team. Evaluate project requests to provide sizing estimates. Provide conceptual solutions and application architecture strategies. Assist business partners with requirements definition. Assist business analysts with functional designs. Create technical designs. Perform hands-on development for defects and new functionalities. Assist and guide junior developers with build phase activities. Assist with defect resolution during system testing and user acceptance testing. Create implementation plans and back out plans. Oversee implementations and post-implementation support phases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Java Developer, Systems Analyst, IT Project Manager/Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Cloud Services; Check Image Analysis using Recursive Neural Network Algorithms; Kerberos; Microservices; Apache Kafka; Rest Soap Web services; Java; JEE; Spring Framework; Cassandra; Oracle; DB2; Apache Tomcat; WebSphere; Maven; Dynatrace; Splunk; Junit; Sonar Cube; HP Fortify; Blazemeter; and Linux.
