DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Infosys is seeking a Wi-Fi Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require 20% travel in the US. Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree. 4+ years of Information Technology experience U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.

Preferred Qualifications: * Technical experience directly working with Wi-Fi / RF in computer architecture and data communications. * Experience with Wireless technology testing which includes Wireless AP's, Routers, Wireless extenders & Wireless standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax) * Knowledge of real-world wireless environments. * Experience working with TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, Switching. * Familiarity with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools like Veriwave, IXIA Chariot and packet debuggers like Wireshark, Omnipeek and Savius. * Has a technical background in secondary home networking technologies such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, MoCA, and Ethernet in a DOCSIS environment. * Familiarity with RF chambers Octoscope, Lindgren etc. * Comfortable in some scripting language of choice * Must be able to work independently * Strong background in designing or extending existing test frameworks * Excellent Debugging skills & experience troubleshooting * Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for analysis, and automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Understanding of and experience with the full product development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, product use cases, user stories, implementation, QA processes, deployment and maintenance * Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams
