QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Associate degree from accredited college/university in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.

• Three (3) years of professional experience in systems administration.

• Have three (3) years’ experience administering a VMware Virtual Environment, which should include extensive knowledge of and experience with installation, configuration, and integration, backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware Virtual Infrastructure such as ESXi and vCenter Servers. 

• Configure new virtual machines (VM’s) and Windows Server Operating experience.  

• IAT Level II - CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

• Must be U.S. Citizen

  Preferred/Desired

• Working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Fleet organizations is desired.

  Responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:

• Attending mandatory, annual training sessions

• Providing regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations

• Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination

• Attending recurring team meetings or huddles

• Assisting in the development of new initiatives
