As part of our North American team, in a highly strategic Pre-Sales Business Solutions Architect-Dynamics AX/365 role, you will be responsible for driving revenue through prospecting, acquisition, development, and expansion of customer opportunities for Avanade's Business Applications Market Unit. You will help build and execute sales strategies and drive proposal efforts. You will provide deep expertise in lead qualification, opportunity assessment, opportunity development, and proposal development. You will work with Avanade's Offering Development, Marketing, and Regional Market Unit Teams, Accenture, Microsoft, and Solution Alliance Partners in North America to achieve Avanade business growth and client success. What you'll do: * Lead the design during presales of functional components related to Finance including intercompany, currency, complex consolidations. * Design, build, and demonstrate scenario flows with Microsoft Dynamics 365 aligned to the client's business team key requirements * Present technical approach and solutions to C-level clients * Provide input to estimating the functional workstream for the project. * You will be responsible for creating differentiated propositions while solving business problems impacting clients by leveraging Microsoft Solutions and partnering across the Avanade, Microsoft, and Accenture landscape to drive successful business outcomes. * Work with prospective clients to understand key business and functional needs * Advise the delivery team during the functional solution design * Consult, advising our clients and internal partners on the best uses of technology to tackle problems * Take ownership of the technical approach and estimation of a proposal during the sales process * Learn our client's business, their organization, systems, challenges, and goals * As an active facilitator, participate in and lead partner brainstorming, technical planning, and design sessions * Articulate execution strategy through roadmaps, estimates, and implementation plans * Ensure quality through driving standard methodology and project governance * Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical decisions Skills and experiencesss: * Hands on and Functional implementation experience with D365 Finance modules * Collaborate with leadership teams in the development and production of ERP focused offerings * Acting as a conduit between technology and the business outcomes delivered * Experience in developing high-value products and services that match enterprise client goals * Experience collaborating with peers in a large, matrixed organizations, including considerable experience with offshore teams and delivery * Knowledge of opportunities and risks associated with large scale, complex projects for your enterprise clients * Master's Degree in Finance, CPA, or equivalent educational/work experience with extensive experience selling and implementing complex global Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. * Working knowledge of Cost accounting and advanced inventory accounting in Dynamics 365 Finance is a plus. * Experience with similar FP&A products (OneStream) a plus.
