At V2X, we are making a difference by providing support to programs at NAVAIR . This office is responsible for research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the Navy's Autonomous Aircraft program . We are looking for a Mid-Level Cyber Security Analyst to support the execution of Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) research and development (R&D) programs by assisting in the coordination of all technical activities of the program office in alignment with sponsor desires and sound engineering practices. This position is located on-site in Patuxent River, MD and requires the candidate to have an active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

• Identifying and developing program-level / cross-project technical guidance on cybersecurity.

• Interaction and program representation with numerous stakeholders and technical exchange forums.

• Assessment of technical risk and mitigation alternatives ln regards to cybersecurity.

• Tailoring of engineering standards and controls for appropriate technical oversight of technology efforts.

• Creation and tracking of project technical transition criteria.

• Other technical support duties as may arise from either the Program Lead or the Cyber Lead.

• Minor (10%) travel is required for this position.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or management field from an accredited college or university.

• Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

  Required Experience / Skills:

• At least seven (7) years of experience with cyber related activities in a DoD research and development (R&D) procurement.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).

• Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.

• Experience coordinating operations across multiple organizational boundaries.

• Experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.
