Job Summary: The IT Helpdesk Technician II is an opportunity for a skilled individual to provide technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolution for a diverse staff of engineering, administrative and executive personnel.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide technical support for all CESI personnel.
  • Works on-site to identify, troubleshoot, resolve and document technical incidents encountered by our staff.
  • Responsible for managing the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Responsible for maintaining asset inventory.
  • Setting up and configuring new hire computer systems
  • Some systems' administration (primarily Windows platforms)
  • Some data backup administration
  • Basic networking and infrastructure troubleshooting
  • Available on some weekends and nights as required for systems maintenance.
  • Ability to lift 40-50lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Adapts effortlessly to dynamically shifting priorities without causing stress to the customer or team.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • CompTIA A+ and Net+ certifications
  • Demonstrable experience with setup, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer software, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Exceptional discipline, time management, ability to work with minimal supervision and a moderate degree of autonomy.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document and communicate necessary steps for resolving all technical issues in a timely manner.

Preferred Education:

  • An associate degree in relevant field
  • 3+ years of technical experience in a corporate environment
  • CompTIA Security+

Other Requirements:Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
