ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Each of the following essential functions are vital to the role, encompassing a broad scope of responsibilities that ensure the Vice President of Property Management can effectively manage and lead Gorman & Company\'s property management operations. These functions align with strategic management, operational efficiency, financial oversight, compliance adherence, resident satisfaction, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and technological advancement within the organization. Strategic Leadership: Develop, articulate, and implement the strategic direction for the property management division. Ensure alignment with the company\'s overall business goals and strategic objectives. Focus on team member engagement and minimizing turnover. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations across all properties. Ensure efficient and effective property management activities. Oversee the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial performance of the property portfolio. Implement cost control measures to maintain or improve profitability. Ensure the financial health of each property and that financial targets are met. Manage the integration of new assets into the existing portfolio smoothly and effectively. Resident Relations: Develop and oversee resident engagement and satisfaction programs. Ensure high retention rates and positive community development.
