IT Manager, infrastructure

Salary Range: $70k - 105K

A Shift (8 am – 5:00pm)

40 hrs/week; overtime as needed

Job Description:

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of critical IT functions within our organization. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong technical skills, experience in managing MSP services, and a proven ability to lead a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain MSP services, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to service level agreements.

  • System configuration documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.

  • Network management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network infrastructure.

  • Infrastructure management: Manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud services.

  • Backups/DR: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

  • Ensure compliance with CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) requirements and other relevant regulatory standards.

  • Monitor and ensure the daily operation of computers, printers, and software applications.

  • Manage SQL databases and LMS (Learning Management Systems) to support organizational needs.

  • Lead and coordinate IT projects, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.

  • Provide support for Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments.

  • Supervise a team of 5-6 IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback as needed.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Quality and Information Systems and other stakeholders to align IT strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing MSP services and overseeing IT infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in network management principles and practices.

  • Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts.

  • Familiarity with CMMC compliance standards and related cybersecurity best practices.

  • Experience with SQL databases and LMS systems.

  • Proven ability to manage IT projects from inception to completion.

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange administration.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
