Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst

OPPD is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst. The Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst is a highly organized, thorough, security-minded problem solver focused on the protection of OPPD¿s information system assets against compromise and cyber-attacks. The Senior IAM Analyst is responsible for planning, implementing, deploying, and maintaining IAM security solutions to ensure the stability and security of OPPD¿s electronic data. The Senior IAM Analyst will serve as a specialist in the IAM team and help develop and gain insight in the application architecture. This role will require programming skills in SailPoint and Delinea to meet nonstandard configuration needs. Good problem solving skills that help the team in triaging operational issues is a must along with leveraging expertise in eliminating repeat occurrences. This position will help in the secure deployment of network systems and the administration of these systems in a mission-critical, 24/7 environment. This work demands initiative, analytical skills, and technical expertise while working to maintain and broaden professional expertise through approved training, collaboration with peers, and attendance at professional meetings/conferences.

Operational Support:

  • Contribute to the execution of Identity and Access Management (IAM) security service delivery including requests, incidents, root cause analysis, and problem and change management in compliance to OPPD¿s policies and process

  • Identify risks both operational and security during day to day activities and during specific, targeted efforts. Make recommendations and/or take action to mitigate these issues as appropriate

  • Provide informal technical support and training to less experienced teammates

  • these issues as appropriate. Actively contribute to and participate in security incident response as needed

    Project and Continuous Improvement Support:

  • Provide post implementation support and regular system maintenance and support which will periodically require evening, weekend, and on-call support

  • Lead and contribute to assessing IAM security capabilities/solutions and how best to integrate them across the enterprise whilst being an evangelist in driving innovations

  • Contribute to and analyze business requirements and specifications and propose solutions that fit to standards, compliance, and operational requirements

  • Build, test, and rollout of enterprise IAM solutions in collaboration with internal and external resources

    As a Senior IAM Analyst:

  • Design, implement and maintain core IAM security capabilities, technologies and systems

  • Lead initiatives and projects to integrate the IGA and PAM platforms with all applications and identity stores

  • Regularly review IAM security technologies, infrastructure and systems to ensure compliance and best practices are being followed and where necessary, resolve and/or escalate inconsistencies and issues

    Qualifications

    Required:

  • Bachelor¿s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or equivalent field required OR 7+ years of experience

  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; proven track record of delivering while working independently.

  • You have 3+ years working with IGA solutions (SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, etc.)

  • You have 3+ years working with PAM solutions (CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust or equivalent)

  • You have a thorough command of IAM technology/systems that will be utilized in achieving business goals

  • You have deep expertise and accomplishments in credential management

  • You demonstrate an informed and thoughtful approach to managing evolving technology/system changes and end user needs across the business

  • You consistently demonstrate inclusive behavior, cultivates diversity, and a sense of belonging amongst your colleagues, portfolio, and stakeholders

  • You possess an advanced understanding of how functional and technical decisions will impact system performance and scalability enterprise-wide

  • You have worked closely with Security professionals and other engineering teams to adopt secure processes and practices

  • You have demonstrated experience at effectively driving progress without formal authority

  • You naturally exude team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualities

  • You are decisive - you gather the data and make and communicate informed, critical decisions quickly, with minimal supervision

  • You have executed multi-team initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support

    Desired:

  • Experience executing projects in lead capacity.

  • Must be able to gain NERC and nuclear unescorted access as needed and support vulnerability and account management programs in the following compliance areas (NERC, NRC (NEI 08-09), PCI).

  • Security Operations Center design and implementation experience.
