Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a mid-level electrical designer for a client in the utilities space. This client is looking to bring on a contractor to help with additional project workload as they work in a cradle to grave model. This individual will sit on the electrical team alongside other designers and engineers. They should be proficient with AutoCAD and their design skills as the team is not looking to train on these skills, and expecting the individual to be up to speed on the company and fully working in the first four months.

Skills and Requirements

-Minimum of 2 years of electrical design experience, can include internship experience

-AutoCAD 3D

-Good communication skills -Understanding of utilities & power controls, not just switches & outlets

-Experience in the energy, utilities, oil, gas or power space.

-Experience using other design tools such as Solidworks, Revit, Creo, AutoCAD 2D null
