Description We are offering an opportunity for a Software Developer based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role involves working closely with IT Coordinators to transform business requirements into functional code across a vast range of products, predominantly delivered as web applications. The role also entails performing technical reviews of code, mentoring junior developers, and assisting in system design/redesign.

Responsibilities:

• Develop functional code to successfully implement business requirements

• Collaborate with direct management and project coordinators to prioritize tasks

• Conduct technical reviews of codes written by other developers, identifying anti-patterns, logic flaws, performance issues, and lack of adherence to supported styles

• Provide constructive feedback on reviewed codes, and be open to similar reviews from existing developers

• Mentor junior developers to enhance the team's overall skill set and improve team velocity

• Assist in system design/redesign, proposing patterns and practices based on prior experience

• Utilize Microsoft development tools such as SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio

• Demonstrate full-stack, multi-tier knowledge through data modeling, database design/development, and database querying using Microsoft SQL Server

• Design and implement web applications using Microsoft web stacks including WebForms, MVC, and WebAPI

• Work with client-side web browser scripting libraries and JavaScript frameworks

• Forecast level of effort for development work and track story progress and remaining work in an online ticketing system

• Adapt quickly to changing requirements and tasks

• Collaborate effectively with various IT project teams, management, and extended service providers. Requirements • Proficiency in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, coding, testing, and maintenance

• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft SQL and Microsoft SQL Server for database management

• Strong skills in JavaScript Framework for front-end development

• Proficient in using Visual Studio for coding and debugging

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively for software solutions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
