The Amazon Robotics (AR) Operations organization oversees the manufacturing of high-quality robotics and gets the right materials to the right place at the right time to enable our automated solutions. It’s a fast-paced operation that works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon globally, and is driven by data and performance indicators.

Global Robotics Delivery Design Engineering Services has an immediate opening for an experienced program manager for change management within its Design Integration Team team. This role is responsible for:

  • Reviewing new change requests from engineering and stakeholders against existing standards

  • Building and maintaining a team of subject matter experts across a wide variety of disciplines

  • Identifying and addressing customer and business pain points by through lean engineering and other techniques

  • Leading and implementing significant process improvement projects within the team and larger change management network

  • Identifying and implementing promising improvements across larger portions of Amazon's Fulfillment Network

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and tools

  • Manage the integration and automation of business tools related to the PLM process (Oracle, Agile, and other tools)

  • Develop and monitor metrics to report on process health and data integrity.

  • Interface with all necessary individuals in order to accurately process changes and structure new products.

  • Monitor the performance of the Engineering Change process.

  • Define standards for Product and Bill of Material definition.

  • Develop a continuous improvement strategy in the Product Lifecycle Management processes.

  • Partner with application developers to scope and implement new product features.

  • Provide guidance to PLM user community and other Amazon organizations on PLM best practices.

  • Develop and manage business process mapping, process gap identification, and gap reconciliation.

  • Support acceptance testing and adoption for customizations and application enhancements

  • Analyze and translate business requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives

  • Work with other process/application owners to synchronize and harmonize master data between Agile, Proplanner, Oracle EBS, iHUB, and other tools.

  • Identify and work cross-functionally to ensure solutions implemented enabling digital production process development.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering or Business Master’s degree.

  • Multidisciplinary background including IT configuration and business requirement development

  • Knowledge of AgilePLM modules PC, PQM, and PG&C release 9.3 or greater.

  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS (MRP) systems and the integration process from PLM to EBS systems

  • Experience with Teamcenter, Solidworks or industrial simulation is a plus

  • 3+ years technical team leadership.
