Honeywell Electronic Warfare Principal Systems Engineer in Norcross, Georgia

Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Services & Connectivity. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electromagnetic Solutions business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead as a systems architect for Electronic Warfare and Radar products.

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development (BD) team on pursuits.

  • Work across all of Honeywell to develop holistic solutions.

  • Write compelling proposals and white papers.

  • Mentor fellow engineers.

  • Conduct requirements analysis and decomposition.

  • Engage with customers.

  • Manage budget and schedule responsibilities.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • Knowledge of legacy EW/Radar systems.

  • Staying up to date on current technologies and trends.

  • Familiarity with export control regulations.

  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%)

  • Demonstrated ability to win pursuits.

  • Strong industry relationships.

  • Expertise in systems development lifecycle.

  • Experience working with diverse and global teams.

  • Ability to make autonomous decisions.

  • Significant engineering background.
