Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in NOBLESVILLE, Indiana, United States. The role primarily involves functions related to general ledger, reconciliation, month-end close assist, and journal entries, in line with the industry standard practices.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of entries.

• Regularly perform account reconciliation tasks to verify that transactions are accurately recorded.

• Assist in month-end closing procedures, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.

• Take responsibility for balancing sheet reconciliations and ensuring discrepancies are promptly addressed and resolved.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for maintaining and managing data, and for performing financial analysis.

• Ensure all bank reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Regularly review and update accounting records, correcting any discrepancies that are found.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the department.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements in the execution of duties.

• Continually update skills and industry knowledge to ensure effectiveness in role. Requirements • The candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience as an Accountant.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are essential.

• Knowledge of Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• The candidate should be experienced in General Ledger management.

• Ability to prepare and process Journal Entries is a must.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• The candidate should have experience in Month End Close procedures.

• A professional qualification in Accounting or a related field is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must.

• The candidate should have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.

• The candidate should have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
