Precise Systems, Inc. Systems Engineer in Newport, Rhode Island

Precise Systems is currently looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to support our Newport, Rhode Island customer. The Systems Integration Engineer will:

  • Work with Engineers to establishes standards, practices, and procedures for integrating, testing and evaluating missile weapons systems on board Navy Submarines

  • Evaluate system capabilities, architectures, design concepts, requirements, risks and opportunities, and processes for integration, test, evaluation and transition impacts

  • Design, develop, and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of systems in conjunction with system specifications and defined capabilities

  • Develop, review and evaluate test requirements

  • Participate in reviews of systems under development to ensure requirements compliance through verification and validation

    Required Education:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering discipline required. BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred

    Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

    Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Required Skills

Bachelors with minimum 6 years of experience or Masters with minimum 2 years of experience
