Job Description

Prudential is looking for an experienced mid-level Salesforce Engineer to join their growing Salesforce Team in their Platform Services organization. This team operates as the center of excellence for the Salesforce suite across Prudential's enterprise supporting over 30 orgs. This team will assist with recommending reasonable patterns and third party integrations. You will work with architecture team and security team to advise them on all things Salesforce related. Instead of working in depth with all 30 orgs, this team will do proof of concepts for Salesforce integrations, and then deliver the implementation guide to the 30 orgs that they support, and then handle any questions that the orgs have as they follow the guide.

This person must be comfortable working with the business and fielding questions from them. This person will do some coding, but that's not the main responsibility of this job. You should be familiar with how the configuration works, but your job won't solely be building lightning web components, creating fields, building page layouts, or doing user permissioning. This role will be more focused on building the proof of concepts, creating the implementation guide, and then fielding Salesforce questions from the orgs that this team supports. This is a group of 1 product owner and 3 technical members, so there is a lot of opportunity for growth long-term.

Skills and Requirements

* Strong experience with Salesforce from a technical standpoint and not just development

* Experience developing Salesforce Apex and Salesforce Lightning web components

* Experience with JavaScript, REST/JSON, and XML integrations

* Familiar with process automation such as Batch Apex

* Understanding of core Salesforce configuration including but not limited to permissions, objects, fields, and user interface

* Experience with Agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)

* Knowledge of DevOps automation tools & practices (CI/CD) * Experience with or knowledge of Splunk and how it works in a Salesforce environment

* Experience with testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, or Selenium

* Exposure to monitoring and logging techniques

* Knowledge on Salesforce Architecture design patterns null
