NYC Health + Hospitals Senior Director, ERP Technology in New York, New York

NYC Health and Hospitals seeks a Senior Director, ERP Technology for their 50 Water Street, 6th Fl. NY, NY location. Specifically, the successful candidate will perform the following duties:Implement and promote best practices in Systems Management & Monitoring, Security, and Software Development Life Cycle;Partner with the ERP Functional area Senior Directors to implement, changes, review specifications, and resolve issues;Offer new methods to achieve what the business is asking for and provide efficient workflows, and responsible to hire a team of highly skilled developers and technology personnel;Build a strategy to assess NYCHHC readiness towards ERP Cloud and to provide an actionable roadmap, and take complete charge of this initiative, from initiating the dialogue with the business owners, to working-out the ROI and CBA, to enable decision making and to provide a path forward;Oversee all production support and ongoing maintenance of PeopleSoft HRMS/Finance/Supply chain/ELM, to include, PeopleSoft Enhancements, Bug Fixes, Bundles and Upgrades;Ensure effective prioritization of work assignments and management of Technical and Development teams’ resources and their activities;Provide direction to a diverse staff of analysts, developers, system administrators, and project managers responsible for ERP operations;Support managers within the Applications team in identifying and implementing changes, improvements, and efficiencies;Provide pragmatic and agile oversight over Project Scheduling and Resource Allocation—to make real-time adjustments that are within scope of responsibility and to recommend changes, as appropriate;Function as an advocate and serve as a positive role model for encouraging others to embrace innovative changes and transformation associated with ERP technologies;Identify and implement process improvements and ensure internal controls and quality standards comply with internal policies and industry standards;Foster excellent communications and teamwork within Business Applications and work with teams to provide solutions;Responsible for the creation and maintenance of highly detailed Systems Visios, Technical Documentation of systems configurations, Integrations as well as DR Plans for ERP Systems;Continually research technology opportunities in the ERP domain, collaborate with other IS team members and key innovation partners such as Olive, to take advantage of AI and automation opportunities for the ERP environment;Participate with senior leadership to establish strategic goals, plans and objectives;Evaluate the Pros and Cons of moving to Cloud (Applications or Infrastructure), and initiate discussion with the Business Owners and Senior Leadership to evaluate H+H’s present-benchmarked as against required-readiness in adapting the solution;Ensure that ERP development team members are continually learning and retooling to staff current with best systems and approaches to maintaining and enhancing ERP technologies;Develop staff performance expectations, goals and metrics.Establishes career path goals for each member, by performing regular scheduled evaluations and by providing guidance and mentorship in development of those goals;Hold responsibility for all aspects of managing and leading the ERP Technologies team including hiring, staff development, performance management, and rewards.Establish an inclusive and innovative culture where individuals feel valued and thrive, inspiring overall Team Success and Trust.Req. Bachelors in Business Administration, Information Systems, Financial Accounting or a related field; 2 yrs. exp. with business transformation management; 2 yrs. exp.
