Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in New York, New York. This position is within the telecom industry, where you will be primarily engaged in data management and governance, database structuring, and process improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing and utilizing data management tools, including data quality and business/technical metadata catalogs.

• Undertaking master data management projects with a focus on company or person disambiguation.

• Creating datasets from a variety of disparate sources to facilitate data governance initiatives and processes.

• Performing data mining on large datasets to supplement data governance quality improvement initiatives.

• Utilizing SQL and Python to manage both relational and non-relational databases, database structures, and unstructured databases.

• Developing a strong understanding of data quality frameworks within data lifecycle management.

• Driving data quality initiatives and resolution.

• Engaging in process improvement, workflow, benchmarking, and evaluation of business processes.

• Writing various documents such as functional requirements, data quality rules, and policy definitions.

• Preparing and managing datasets for data governance and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data management and analysis

• Experience in data reporting and documentation

• Understanding of data governance and master data management

• Familiarity with database structures and data mining methods

• Knowledge of policy development and onboarding processes

• Ability to prepare datasets for analysis and reporting

• Experience in data quality assessment and quality improvement initiatives

• Familiarity with business process functions and salary structures

• Ability to create graphs and visualize data effectively

• Understanding of metadata and its role in data management

• Experience in lifecycle management of data

• Knowledge of benchmarking methods for data analysis

• Proficiency in framework development for data management

• Ability to create deliverables based on data analysis

• Understanding of eligibility verification processes

• Familiarity with agreement structures in a business context
