Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a permanent Systems Administrator/Desktop Engineer for a financial services customer to sit hybrid in NYC (2 days per week). This person will be joining a preexisting team of administrators and engineers supporting the Windows and SCCM environment. This person will spend 50% of their time on application packaging and deployments and 50% on tier 2 Windows support. We're looking for someone with 2+ years of enterprise experience of PowerShell scripting (from scratch), working with SCCM/MECM/Intune, supporting Windows 7/10/11, and knowledge of OS deployments and configuration task sequences to join the team as soon as possible. Any experience in the financial services industry, migrating Windows OS (ie. 10 to 11), or a Bachelor's degree would be a plus but would not be necessary for success in the role.

Skills and Requirements

*2-4 years of experience as an SCCM Admin -- deployment of software using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

*2-4 years of experience in scripted application packaging with working knowledge of PowerShell application deployment toolkit (PSADT)

*Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11

*Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with client software and drivers

*Knowledge of OS deployment and configuration manager task sequences. *Microsoft Intune experience

*Prior experience doing an enterprise-level upgrade from Windows 10 to 11. null
